New Jersey champion Bayonne Little League faces New York champion PYA Little League of Port Washington today, Monday, Aug. 10, in the winner’s bracket of the Little League Metro Region Tournament.
Bayonne advanced with an 8-2 victory over Connecticut champion Darien, while PYA opened regional play with an 18-0 win over Rhode Island. The winner of today’s game advances to the Metro Region championship game and moves within one victory of the Little League Baseball World Series 2026 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Bayonne vs Port Washington play at 1 p.m. ET today, Monday, Aug. 10, in the 2026 Little League Baseball Metro Region Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut.
A win would send Bayonne to the Metro Region championship game and move the New Jersey champions within one victory of the Little League Baseball World Series 2026. The loser of the NY vs NJ game will play an elimination game against Connecticut’s Darien on Friday, Aug. 12.
