Missouri woman accused of harassment, murder threats after victim blocked her on Roblox

An Independence, Missouri, woman is accused of threatening and terrorizing a victim who blocked her on Roblox.
Julianne Grace Willis, 26, of Independence, pleaded guilty to one count of cyberstalking.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the victim noticed a relative, who was a minor, was receiving demeaning messages on Roblox from someone who claimed to be a 24-year-old man named Chris.
The FBI later traced the account belonging to “Chris” to Willis.
The victim, who lives in Kansas, blocked the account. Willis then began harassing the victim with calls, texts and social media messages. These messages contained threats to rape and kill the victim and their family, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
Willis made a fake dating profile, leading men, who expected romantic encounters, to the victim’s house.
The victim also had to change jobs because Willis called the victim’s place of employment and made derogatory comments.
“The victim in this case endured a sustained and deliberate campaign of harassment by the defendant, whose repeated actions caused significant disruption to the victim’s daily life and well-being of their family,” said Chris Ormerod, FBI Kansas City special agent in charge. “This conduct had a profound and lasting impact on the victim’s sense of security and quality of life. The FBI remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting victims, aggressively investigating those who engage in criminal harassment and holding offenders accountable under the law.”
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 4, 2026.
