Calling all anime aficionados!
Vancouver’s annual anime convention returns to the Vancouver Convention Centre this August long weekend for three days of all things anime and Japanese pop culture starting on Friday, July 31.
Featuring cosplay, games, performances, voice actors, exciting panels and anime merchandise, Anirevo Revolution invites attendees to participate in a cultural exchange and meet like-minded people.
Several of the exciting “guests of honour” to check out include voice actor Sayaka Sembongi, voice actor Yuto Uemura, DJ NaOH, sound director Takeshi Takadera and voice actor Saffron Henderson.
Attendees can also expect to see thousands of Vancouver cosplayers dressing as a variety of characters from popular anime and video games. You can even book a private room for a fun photoshoot with your squad.
Organizers advise people heading down for the event to bring chargers/powerbanks, good walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. Face masks are also encouraged, and attendees should wear deodorant and sanitize their hands often, according to a post on X.
Voice actor Nick Wolfhard shared a video saying how he was excited to sign autographs and do panels at the upcoming convention.
