We’d like to share with you a new image from the second season of Prime Video’s epic fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power.
This image gives us our first look at a mountain troll. We met the cave troll Peter Jacksonof The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ringas well as Season 1 ring of power Featuring snow trolls.
This mountain troll is named Damrod and is known as the “Dragon Bone Eater”. Damrod voice actor Benjamin Walker and co-show host Patrick McKay shared:

Season 2 director Charlotte Brändström said of the upcoming series: “From what I can tell, what I can say is that it’s going to be darker, edgier, and more… Role-oriented.
“I still think we have some really fun episodes coming up. I watched all of them over Christmas, just editing. I think it’s going to be a really good season.
“We tried to make it grittier, I guess a little dirtier. Not in the graphics, but to make it as real as possible. We also had some really surprising twists.
The series is being developed by the show’s producers JD Payne and Patrick McKay. ring of power Season 2 will premiere on Prime Video on August 29.
