Salman Khan has always seemed to be larger than life, but an anecdote that was shared by film producer Shailendra Singh shows how unfazed the superstar can be during a medical procedure.
Sharing the memory of one of his visits to Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartments, Singh walked in on the actor who was undergoing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, which is performede would find this to be uncomfortable, Salman seemed to be fine
What surprised Singh even more was that despite the treatment being done, the Dabangg star was having a plate of biryani.
He said, “I went to Salman for a meeting at his place in Galaxy Apartments. In those days, we used to have Monday night parties. He was sitting at the dining table, eating, and looking at himself in the mirror. He likes to eat while looking in the mirror. There’s a small table in the kitchen with a mirror in front, so you’re sitting next to him, but you’re actually talking through the mirror.”
Singh also reflected on the pressures associated with being one of the biggest stars in India. He explained that keeping this image in front of the camera means working incredibly hard behind the camera, from working out vigorously to getting cosmetic and health treatments that the audience would hardly think of.
According to the producer, Salman himself commented on this very aspect while simply saying that these efforts are “the price to pay” for being a star. He said, “There’s a price to pay to be a star, bro.”
This revelation triggered curiosity among the fans about the way their favorite star spends his time. Most of them were amused to imagine Salman eating biryani nonchalantly while getting a scalp injection, while others thought of this as the proof of the actor’s calm personality and resilience.
Salman Khan continues proving that by undertaking this kind of work, he has been managing to stay at the top of the industry for over thirty years.
