- MIYAVI has announced his first new album in three years, titled Lost In Love, Found In Pain . The first part of the album, “Lost In Love,” was released exclusively in physical form in Japan on April 3.
- To commemorate the release of this album, MIYAVI will hold the “Lost In Love” Japan Tour 2024 in June in three cities and venues: Tokyo (Spotify O-EAST), Nagoya (THE BOTTOM LINE) and Osaka (BIGCAT). Further details will be announced on the official website at a later date.
- In addition, it was also announced that “Running In My Head” will be used as the opening theme of “Code Geass: Recaptured Rhodes”, and a single jacket to be released on May 8, 2024 was revealed. The jacket features an original illustration of the main character, Roze, striking a memorable pose and highlighted with the Geass mark. “Running In My Head”, which MIYAVI has already performed live, is an up-tempo rock track that features his characteristic strong and exciting guitar sound.

MIYAVI’s profile
MIYAVI is a guitarist who has gained worldwide attention for his unconventional “slap guitar” style, in which he plays the electric guitar with his fingers instead of a pick. He has performed more than 380 live performances in 30 countries and has conducted 9 successful world tours. Other achievements include performing the national anthem at Dodger Stadium in the United States, opening the National Stadium during Paris Saint-Germain’s soccer team’s visit to Japan, and providing music and halftime performances for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
In addition to his musical pursuits, MIYAVI made his Hollywood debut in the Angelina Jolie film Unbreakable. He also appeared on the runway at Paris Fashion Week as a model for Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3, and was the first Japanese to appear in a GUCCI global series of ads. In recent years, he has also been actively involved in advertising campaigns for companies such as Dell and McLaren. In 2017, he became the first Japanese to be appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
In November 2022, he announced the formation of the band “The Last Rockstars” with YOSHIKI, HYDE and SUGIZO. As a “Samurai Guitarist”, he continues to accept new challenges and is one of the most promising Japanese artists active on the international stage.
