Disney+ has revealed its full August 2026 programming schedule, delivering a month packed with major premieres, nostalgic favourites, blockbuster films, live sports and returning original series. The streaming platform is blending new Disney productions with Hulu content and ESPN coverage, creating one of its busiest monthly line ups of the year.
One of the month’s biggest attractions is Camp Rock 3, which premieres on August 14 and reunites the Jonas Brothers with the beloved musical franchise that became a defining Disney Channel phenomenon in the late 2000s. The original Camp Rock films helped launch the careers of Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas alongside Demi Lovato, making the long awaited third instalment one of Disney+’s most anticipated releases of 2026.
Marvel fans also have plenty to celebrate. X Men 97 returns with its second season beginning August 5, continuing the acclaimed revival of the classic animated series. The season finale arrives just one week later on August 12, giving viewers a tightly scheduled run of new episodes. The platform is also expanding the Star Wars universe with Star Wars: Visions Presents The Ninth Jedi, while Wizards Beyond Waverly Place launches its third season on the same day.
Disney+ is also leaning heavily into nostalgia. August opens with a collection of familiar films joining the service through Hulu, including Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, Men in Black, Men in Black II, Men in Black 3, Cheaper by the Dozen, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Sonic the Hedgehog and Tropic Thunder. The diverse catalogue gives subscribers access to action, science fiction, comedy and family entertainment throughout the month.
Animation remains a key part of Disney+’s offering. New episodes and seasons arrive for SuperKitties, Big City Greens, Chibiverse, CoComelon Playdates with Sanrio Friends, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and Sofia the First: Royal Magic. Fans of The Simpsons can also look forward to the Disney+ exclusive episode The Simpsons: Yellow Mirror, debuting on August 26.
International programming continues to expand with titles including Season 2 of A Shop for Killers, Season 2 of Flex X Cop and King & Prince: Our Meet Up in LA. Documentary viewers will find fresh factual programming such as Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, 9/11 Reunited and Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration.
Sport remains another major focus throughout August. Disney+ subscribers can watch extensive ESPN coverage featuring the WNBA, PGA TOUR events, the LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL WORLD SERIES, the LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL WORLD SERIES and the US OPEN. The service will also stream BANANA BALL games and the 2026 LoL KeSPA Cup, reflecting Disney’s continued investment in live sporting events alongside its entertainment catalogue.
