Nintendo Switch 2 has now outsold the GameCube in the UK

Nintendo Switch 2 has reached a new sales milestone in the UK as reports are emerging that the system has surpassed the GameCube.
Specific data was not provided, but it’s nonetheless a noteworthy piece of news. Nintendo Switch 2 will next look to outsell the N64 in the UK, which should happen sooner rather than later.
Like its predecessor, Nintendo Switch 2 has done very well with sales. Nintendo’s most recent count puts the console at 19.86 million units sold. Technically Nintendo Switch 2 is still behind GameCube worldwide (its total was 21.74 million), but we imagine that this will change once the latest financial report is published next week.
While we don’t have specific data, it’s also known that Nintendo Switch 2 is doing well in the U.S. The system ended its first year at almost 6 million units sold, making it the second-fastest-selling gaming system tracked history, behind only the Game Boy Advance.
