Meta is rolling out Conversation Focus functionality in its early access program for smart glasses in the U.S. and Canada.
Conversation Focus, announced at Connect 2025 in September, is an accessibility feature that amplifies the voice of the person in front of you.
This is the result of over 6 years of research into “perceptual psychic abilities” by Meta. Unlike hearing aid features in devices like Apple’s AirPods Pro 2, Meta’s Conversation Focus is highly directional and designed to only amplify the audio in front of you.
The conversation will focus on Meta smart glasses.
Conversation Focus is available in early access on Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta HSTN glasses in the US and Canada.
To participate in the early access program, visit this URL in the United States or Canada.
Once your glasses have this feature, you can activate it at any time using “Hey Meta, Start Conversation Focus.” Alternatively, (perhaps more practical) you can assign this function as a long-press action on the touchpad on the side of the glasses.
