Tripleseat serves 16,000 restaurants and hotels worldwide and has managed 34 million events to date. Merri will be integrated into the existing Triplesea platform.
Immersive enterprise metaverse solution provider hyperspace Announce acquisition glue, a virtual meeting technology startup based in Finland. The move will add Glue’s messaging platform to Hyperspace’s existing suite of virtual event, employee onboarding and learning solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

covent It also announced several AI-driven updates as part of its roadmap for its event management and marketing platform and hotel cloud platform. For planners, AI enhancements include improvements to Cvent’s AI writing assistant, and new products include event website chatbots, registration prediction models, attendee profile segmentation and content summaries. Artificial intelligence will also assist users with site searches and requests for proposals (RFPs). For hoteliers, Cvent’s artificial intelligence will soon help planners pair hotels, respond to RFPs faster and streamline room charts.
