Anime fans, gamers, cosplayers, and pop culture enthusiasts are in for an unforgettable experience as Anime Bazaar makes its exciting debut on Sunday, 9 August, at The Liner Hotel.
Running from 10am until 4pm, this is Empire Sector’s very first anime event, promising an action-packed day celebrating everything anime, gaming, cosplay, and Japanese pop culture. Whether you’re a lifelong otaku or simply curious about the world of anime, Anime Bazaar has something for everyone.
Visitors can explore over 40 fantastic traders, offering everything from anime merchandise and collectables to artwork, clothing, accessories and more. Gaming fans can step back in time with the dedicated retro gaming area, while competitive players can test their skills in the Mario Kart Tournament.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there. Enjoy a live performance from The LXS Project, hear from fellow fans during the Anime Panel Talk and experience the incredible creativity of some of the UK’s finest cosplayers, who will be attending throughout the day.

Dress as your favourite anime, manga, gaming, or pop culture character and enter one of two cosplay competitions: Under 15s Cosplay Competition and Over 15s Cosplay Competition. The winner of each category will take home a £50 cash prize, making it the perfect opportunity to showcase your costume and performance.
Tickets are £5, making Anime Bazaar one of the most affordable anime events around. Even better, children under 10 can enter free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased in advance or simply bought on the door on the day of the event.
The celebrations don’t end when Anime Bazaar closes. If you take your event wristband to Pixel Bar after the event, you’ll receive a free shot (18+ only). Challenge 25 will be in operation, and terms and conditions apply.
