Our 2026 review begins with Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Series 6-inch Gamerverse Punisher and Nick Fury figures inspired by the 1993 Marvel The Punisher video game. Both figures are inspired by this classic beat ’em up video game. The game begins in an illegal casino and on the streets of New York City, with the Punisher, who is parented by Nick Fury. They are after Mafia enforcer Bruno Costa, who ordered the murder of the Punisher’s family. The game continues with showdowns with classic Marvel characters such as Bonebreaker, Bushwacker, and Jigsaw, and ends with the final boss, the Kingpin himself.

The Punisher and Nick Fury are packaged in a window box with images and logos on all sides, including instructions on the back. The back also notes that this is based on a two-player game, with the Punisher as player one and Nick Fury as player two. The figure comes in a plastic tray along with the accessories.
The Punisher, as seen in the game, wears a light blue and white suit with a skull on his chest, a white harness, belt, gloves, boots, and a holster for his pistol on his right thigh. The base of the body is reused from the Punisher 2-pack that came with Bushwacker, but includes a new holster and harness on the leg opposite the thigh. The belt is also reused and has a white pouch instead of black.
The Punisher includes two head sculpts with unique looks. The one smiling shows white teeth, and both have sculpted black hair and well-finished facial details, with painted eyes, lips, and eyebrows.
The Punisher includes three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fist, open grip, right hand pointing, left hand open), a rifle, a submachine gun, a pistol, and a grenade. The rifle can be held in one or both hands, and the pistol can be stored in a thigh holster.
This is a comparison to the previous product that was included in the bush washer 2-pack. As mentioned above, the harness and holster are new models, and the head model is reused from the base of the body.
His articulation includes a ball-jointed head and hinged neck, ball-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball-jointed torso, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, and hinged and rocker ankles.
Nick Fury is also influenced by video games, and while he doesn’t appear in his SHIELD uniform this time around, the costume is memorable for those who played the game. He wears an orange shirt, green pants, a green harness, a brown belt with a silver buckle, and brown boots. This costume does not have the SHIELD insignia, which was also not seen in the game.
Compared to the SHIELD 3-pack from a few years ago, the torso and head sculpt are new, and the belt, legs, and boots are reused.
Nick Fury includes a single head sculpt with a black eyepatch over his left eye, sculpted brown hair with gray sides, a grinning mouth, and well-finished facial details.
