Jasmine Roth is supporting Leslie Jones as she is out promoting the pair’s new HGTV show, Roast My Rental.
The series, which premieres on Friday, July 24, follows Jones as she gives hilariously brutal commentary on some of the country’s worst short-term rentals. After Jones roasts each home, Roth and her team of designers give the properties a complete makeover in hopes of helping them attract new guests.
Leading up to the show’s premiere, Jones has appeared on several morning and late-night talk shows to promote the series, such as Live With Kelly and Mark and Late Night With Seth Meyers. In a Tuesday, July 21, Instagram Story post, Roth revealed why she hasn’t taken part in the TV press tour.
“[Leslie] romping around NYC talking about ‘Roast My Rental’ airing on @hgtv this Friday… meanwhile me at home like this,” Roth wrote alongside a recent mirror selfie, in which she showed off her baby bump in a pair of black shorts and a matching sports bra.

One day after HGTV announced Roast My Rental back in May, Jasmine revealed that she and her husband, Brett Roth, are expecting their third child together. The couple, who wed in 2013, share daughters Hazel and Darla.

“It was the Monday after the Super Bowl, and we’d been busy hosting friends and family all weekend. I was packing for a big family snowboarding trip to Japan and had this thought that maybe I should take a test before we left — just to be safe,” Roth explained in an interview with People. “And sure enough, it was positive. The lines were super faint, but they were there. I was completely shocked and instantly emotional.”
Jasmine noted that it took her and Brett “over a year to get pregnant” with their second child, adding, “We needed medical intervention, so a spontaneous pregnancy was the last thing I expected. I immediately ran downstairs to tell my husband, and he had the exact same reaction — total disbelief mixed with excitement.”
While answering questions about Roast My Rental in a July 4 Instagram post, Roth revealed whether her pregnancy made filming the show more difficult. “I had the blessing of my doctor and we shot over 6 weeks during the end of my first trimester,” she explained. “It was honestly a good distraction from the nausea.”

She also gushed about working with Jones, writing, “I’ve never laughed so hard. We laughed the entire time we worked together, and I’d go home laughing at the end of the day. Some people are just FUNNY!”
In another Tuesday Instagram Story post, Roth reacted to Leslie’s appearance on that morning’s episode of Today With Jenna & Sheinelle, during which she poked fun at her and Sheinelle Jones‘ height difference by picking the host up in her arms.
“Walked downstairs to this on my tv. @lesdogggg on @todayshow @jennasheinelle and she did not just PICK HER UP!?!” she captioned a pic of her TV. Jasmine also reposted a clip of the funny on-air moment in another Instagram Story post.
