things i like Dragon Ball: Spark Zero It is a multi-layered mechanism that requires in-depth study. What I don’t like, conversely, is that the training mode doesn’t cover all of the above mechanics very well. ultra sporty is a good example, but another example is Sonic Sway, which is a fantastic technique that can thwart your opponent’s game plan if you can master its strict timing.

You have several options to counter attacks and give yourself an advantage. But what makes Sonic Sway so beneficial is that it consumes no resources and instead drains the opponent’s energy. Additionally, it can be used by all characters except giants like Aniraza and Oozaru Vegeta. This guide will explain how to use Sonic Sway and the best ways to practice it.

Sonic Swing is performed when you press the Perception button when an enemy’s melee charge attack lands. For Xbox and PlayStation, users using the standard control scheme will need to press B/Circle. Classic controls, meanwhile, use B+Y/Circle+Triangle as your system of choice.

Successfully executing a Sonic Swing will result in a brief animation showing your character quickly dodging a barrage of punches and kicks from his opponent as he runs out of energy. The animation then ends with a powerful counterattack, knocking the opponent back a short distance. Unless they’re in a corner, they may launch too far to initiate your own dash chain. However, you can follow up with a disappearing attack and then combo into a smash or even a super dash.

Aside from the fact that Sonic Sway can only resist chain punches, the most important thing to emphasize here is the precise timing required. Sonic Sway will only appear if you press the button when the attack occurs, while Super Perception will appear immediately before the attack.. When trying to determine the timing of the former, it’s easy to proceed with the latter. While both are helpful, each use of Super Perception consumes a skill meter.

Another important similarity to supersense is that You need to use Sonic Sway when blocked. It’s possible to instantly counter the first hit from the dash chain, but it requires some insane reaction time and a ton of knowledge of the character you’re fighting. The general instability of online modes only makes this more difficult. This is why I recommend blocking your opponent’s charge chain so you can better see the rhythm of their attacks and try to counter them.

The best way to practice Sonic Sway

A successful Sonic Sway is made even more complicated by the large lineup and different attack speeds. I’m not saying you need Unlock every character And practice against them, but if you want to master this technique, you’ll benefit from some training. The goal is to have a CPU that only uses haste melee attacks to help you perfect your timing. Here are the steps to create the perfect Sonic Sway practice partner in Training Mode.

    • Choose a character you want to practice on.
    • Once loaded, pause and enter training settings.
    • Under meter settings, increase your health to maximum. You’re going to get a lot of punches and kicks in the face, so it’s best to stay healthy.
    • Scroll down a bit under “Meter Settings” and set your opponent’s Ki to “Minimum”. CPUs like to switch things up a bit every now and then. This will prevent them from throwing Ki blasts or charging.
    • Under “Opponent Settings”, set the strategy to “Dash Attack” or “Dash Chain”.

This method will ensure that the CPU only uses Rush Chains against you. Sometimes the training dummy can get a little stuck, so you may need to deliver a chi blast or a few punches to get it back into rhythm. Remember to go back to blocking as soon as possible. Once you feel comfortable landing, try switching to a different character to practice.

Sonic Sway is probably the most difficult defense mechanism to use Dragon Ball: Spark Zerobut the potential rewards are worth it. Turning the tide of your opponent’s attack and wasting an entire bar of their ki is amazing, especially when it doesn’t cost any resources (like ki or skill counts). It’s also a cool thing to see your character become a motion blur while dodging attacks. If you’re on PC and want to make your Sonic Sways more memorable, we’ve put together a list of the best Dragon Ball: Spark Zero module Are there any you cover?
