At 31, Egbe Emmanuel has carved a niche for himself as a social entrepreneur and cultural advocate, leveraging <a href="https://comicvibe.com/are-consumer-discretionary-stocks-lagging-penn-entertainment-inc-penn-this-year/” title=”Are Consumer Discretionary Stocks Lagging PENN Entertainment, Inc. (PENN) This Year?”>entertainment and heritage initiatives to promote Lagos’ rich cultural identity.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ivory Forte Entertainment Concept, Egbe hails from Imo State but was born and raised in Lagos, a background he says shaped his passion for culture, events and storytelling.
His early exposure to the vibrant cultural landscape of Lagos inspired him to pursue a career in branding, community development and entertainment as tools for preserving identity and promoting cultural heritage.
Egbe began his career in the entertainment industry over a decade ago as Club Public Relations Officer (PRO) at XX Night Club, Villa Garden Hotel, New Owerri, where he gained experience in nightlife branding, guest relations and event promotion.
He later served as Pageant Manager for MT Entertainment USA, organisers of Miss Starlet Africa in Owerri, where he coordinated talent management, event production and brand partnerships, further strengthening his expertise in pageantry and cultural events.
In 2021, he established the Eko Heritage Awards under Ivory Forte Entertainment Concept to recognise individuals, organisations and institutions contributing to the preservation and promotion of Lagos’ cultural heritage.
The initiative has since evolved into an annual cultural platform and is endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, making it one of the state’s recognised cultural events.
Egbe also convenes Miss Eko International, a pageant designed to celebrate beauty, talent and cultural diversity while promoting cultural exchange across Lagos communities. The platform seeks to empower young women and showcase Lagos as a centre for creativity, tourism and cultural excellence.
According to him, his vision is to use culture and entertainment as instruments for preserving heritage, creating opportunities for young people and projecting Lagos on the global stage.
As the founder of Ivory Forte Entertainment Concept and convener of the Eko Heritage Awards and Miss Eko International, Egbe continues to champion initiatives aimed at strengthening cultural preservation, supporting community development and advancing Nigeria’s creative industry.
