Following its January 2024 launch on Xbox and PC, Pocketpair finally brings monster collector Palworld to PS5.
Announced during State of the Game today (September 24), those waiting to capture pocket-sized creatures and start putting them to work in their bases don’t have to wait any longer, as the game will be available on Sony’s consoles immediately.

So, yes, the recent Tokyo Game Show listing actually seems to hint that the game will be coming to PS5 soon, and not just an oversight.
Recently, Pocketpair said that Palworld will still be a premium game, so you’ll still need to spend some cash to play it. Additionally, after months of debate over whether this would happen, Pocketpair is currently being sued by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, accusing Palworld of “infringing multiple patents.”
Only time will tell what the future holds for Palworld, but for now, you can play the game on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and starting today on PS5.
