Epic says Fortnite Crew changes start Dec. 5, 2026. See the new V-Bucks tiers, rejoin deadline, final Crew Pack, XP bonuses, and passes that remain.
Epic Games announced on Nov. 4 that Fortnite Crew’s new benefits are scheduled to begin Dec. 5, 2026. Monthly V-Bucks will depend on consecutive subscription tenure, while December’s Crew Pack will be the last and the OG Pass will end with Chapter 1: OG Season X, according to Epic’s announcement. Epic says the monthly U.S. price will remain $11.99.
The four V-Bucks tiers
The announced monthly rewards range from 1,000 to 1,600 V-Bucks. These are earned tiers based on subscription tenure, not separate paid plans. The previous monthly allowance was 800 V-Bucks.
| Consecutive subscription months | V-Bucks per month | Tier |
| 1–2 | 1,000 | Base |
| 3–5 | 1,200 | Bronze |
| 6–11 | 1,400 | Silver |
| 12 or more | 1,600 | Gold |
For active members, Epic counts consecutive subscription months within the preceding 12 months. Its example: a subscription that began June 15 reaches seven months at a Dec. 15 billing date, qualifying for Silver.
The cutoff for returning members
A lapsed subscriber who rejoins by Jan. 1, 2027, at 05:59 CET can have their latest continuous subscription period within the preceding 12 months count toward their starting tier. A later return starts at Base, and earlier periods do not count.
If you’ve canceled, the cutoff that matters is Jan. 1, 2027, at 05:59 CET. After it, earlier subscription periods no longer count toward your tier.
The final Crew Pack and Legacy Styles
Epic says the December 2026 Crew Pack, the last monthly pack, will be granted to subscribers throughout December. Remaining Legacy Styles will cover outfits, pickaxes and back blings from Crew Packs a player already owns, whether or not their subscription is active.
XP bonuses and passes
The planned XP bonuses are 20% more Fortnite XP for Crew members and 10% more for non-Crew party members playing with them. The bonuses do not stack, and adding more Crew members to a party does not increase the non-Crew members’ 10% bonus.
Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass and Rocket Pass Premium will remain included. The OG Pass is scheduled to end with Chapter 1: OG Season X on Dec. 5.
Epic lists a mini Music Pass for Nov. 12 and a mini LEGO Pass alongside the Fortnite Battle Pass for Dec. 5. The company says Music and LEGO Passes will return to their usual size and appear more frequently afterward. Epic also says the next era of Fortnite: OG is planned for late 2027.
