Disney+ subscribers have plenty to look forward to this November, but one upcoming release could become one of the streaming platform’s biggest attractions of the month.

Disney has officially confirmed the return of a popular original series, giving fans another opportunity to reconnect with familiar characters while introducing several new faces.

The company has also released a trailer, offering viewers an early look at what awaits when the next chapter arrives.

For subscribers who have followed the series since its debut, the upcoming release promises another adventure filled with familiar mythology, dangerous enemies, and unexpected challenges.

And that’s not the only addition Disney has planned for November.

Disney+ Prepares for a Major Return

Disney has released the trailer for Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, confirming that the popular fantasy series will return with another adventure inspired by Rick Riordan’s bestselling novels.

The upcoming season adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third installment in Riordan’s original book series.

According to Disney’s November streaming schedule, Season 3 will premiere on November 20, 2026, with two episodes available immediately. Additional episodes will follow.

The series follows Percy Jackson, a young demigod who discovers that Greek mythology is much more than ancient history.

Walker Scobell returns as Percy, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood.

Charlie Bushnell also returns as Luke Castellan, while Tamara Smart portrays Thalia Grace.

For longtime readers, adapting The Titan’s Curse represents an important step in bringing more of Riordan’s original story to television.

The new season will expand Percy’s world while introducing characters who play important roles in the larger mythology.

Several Familiar Faces Are Joining the Adventure

Disney isn’t relying entirely on returning characters to carry the upcoming season.

Season 3 introduces several recognizable figures from Greek mythology, along with two characters who will be especially familiar to readers of the books.

Levi Chrisopulos joins the cast as Nico di Angelo, while Olive Abercrombie portrays his sister, Bianca di Angelo.

Their arrival marks an important development for the series as Percy encounters new allies and complicated relationships.

Meanwhile, Disney has assembled an impressive group of performers to portray additional gods and mythological figures.

Ming-Na Wen will play Hera, Jennifer Beals will portray Demeter, and Hubert Smielecki joins as Apollo.

Kate McKinnon will appear as Aphrodite, while Holt McCallany takes on the role of Atlas, a powerful Titan.

These additions should give the series plenty of opportunities to explore new corners of its mythological world.

Disney’s latest trailer offers an early preview of the adventure, giving fans another reason to revisit the previous seasons before the premiere.

Disney Has More Planned Beyond the New Season

The excitement surrounding Percy Jackson and the Olympiansextends beyond Disney+.

Disney has reached a licensing agreement with Netflix, allowing the first two seasons to stream on the competing platform for a limited three-month period beginning October 4.

That arrangement gives more viewers a chance to discover the series before Season 3 arrives on Disney+ and Hulu.

Disney is also exploring another television adaptation connected to Riordan’s work.

The Kane Chronicles, based on the author’s Egyptian mythology book trilogy, is being developed as a potential live-action Disney+ series.

Riordan is working alongside Angela Robinson on the project, with Disney commissioning sample scripts to explore how the books could translate to television.

However, Disney has not officially approved the series for production or announced a premiere date.

For Percy Jackson fans, November’s premiere could be just one part of Disney’s growing interest in bringing Riordan’s stories to television.

More Disney+ Releases Are Arriving This November

While Percy Jackson and the Olympians will likely attract considerable attention, Disney has several other additions scheduled throughout November.

November 11 brings new Season 2 episodes of Pokémon the Series: The Beginning, offering younger viewers and longtime Pokémon fans more animated adventures.

On November 17, Disney+ adds the first season of How the Tudors Lost Their Heads, expanding its selection of historical programming.

Country music fans can also watch the 60th Annual CMA Awards live on November 18, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Later in the month, Big City Greens returns with new Season 5 episodes on November 25.

These releases provide a mixture of family entertainment, historical programming, and live television.

Disney’s November lineup also gives subscribers several options beyond its biggest original productions.

November Could Be a Big Month for Subscribers

With new episodes, returning favorites, and a range of genres, Disney+ is giving subscribers plenty of reasons to keep watching throughout November. With family-friendly adventures and live entertainment, the streaming service offers something for nearly every type of viewer.

Still, Percy Jackson and the Olympians stands out as one of the month’s most anticipated additions.

Its expanding cast, familiar mythology, and adaptation of another beloved novel could make Season 3 particularly exciting for longtime fans.

With the premiere approaching, viewers won’t have much longer to wait before Percy Jackson’s next adventure begins.
