Red Dead Redemption 2 and more to leave PlayStation Plus this month

Each month, Sony updates its PlayStation Plus Extra line-up with a selection of new and sometimes returning games. On the flipside, the console maker also removes titles from the subscription service on a monthly basis. For November, in anticipation of the industry-shaking Grand Theft Auto VI, Sony is set to remove two of Rockstar’s best-selling games – with GTA V and RDR2 (among others) officially departing PS Plus later this month.
In going to the ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on your PlayStation 5, PS Plus Extra/Premium subscribers will find a list of 11 titles which are set to be removed from the service come the 17th of November:
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Football Manager 26
- The Talos Principle II
- Cricket 24
- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
- Hotshot Racing
- Rock of Ages III
- Earth Defense Force 4.1
- Rapala Fishing
- Yet Another Zombie Defense HD
As mentioned, the two biggest departees are Rockstar’s GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. While it is likely that their removals were purposefully made in alignment with the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI on the 19th of November, GTA V in particular has been added and removed from PS Plus multiple times – typically on a 6 month rotation – and so it’s possible that this might have been a coincidence.
Either way, you have a little under 2 weeks to play / complete the above games before they are unfortunately removed from PlayStation Plus.
KitGuru says: What do you think of November’s departees? Will you be playing through GTA V one more time before its sequel arrives? Let us know down below.
