Horror is back on the menu, folks (to be frank, it’s a menu mainstay). MGM+ series FROM, specifically Seasons 1-3,arrived on Netflix on Oct. 19 as part of a licensing deal with the streaming juggernaut.
‘FROM’ Is in Netflix’s Global Top 10
Surprising no one, the beloved horror show is climbing Netflix’s global Top 10 chart for the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 1, per TUDUM. FROMSeason 1 has spent two weeks in the Top 10 for English shows, racking up 2.2M views and 18.2M hours viewed. Currently, it sits at No. 8 on said chart.
For the uninitiated (consider this your initiation), FROMfollows the denizens of a peculiar town with a pretty big secret as they experience “strange occurrences that intensify at night. Mysterious forces disrupt everyday routines as residents try to preserve stability and community while attempting to comprehend their surroundings.”
The series stars Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Ricky He, Scott McCord, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Simon Webster, Pegah Ghafoori, Avery Konrad, Hannah Cheramy, Eion Bailey, Kaelen Ohm, A.J. Simmons, Nathan D. Simmons, Angela Moore, Julia Doyle, Robert Joy, and Samantha Brown. FROMhails from John Griffin, who also executive produces alongside showrunner Jeff Pinkner and director Jack Bender.
FROMis acclaimed by critics and audiences alike. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes recently included the series on its list of the “Best Horror TV Shows of All Time,” where it sits at No. 8 out of 104 entries. The supernatural horror boasts a near-perfect 96% on the Tomatometer and 76% on the Popcornmeter.
FROMSeason 4 aired on MGM+ this past spring and was renewed for a fifth and final season ahead of its fourth-season premiere. The cast and crew are well into production for Season 5, with a debut sometime in 2027.
