- It is reported that Sakamoto Maaya will sing the opening song “Nina” for the TV animation “Star Bride Nina” which will be broadcast in October. A music video (short version) and new artist photos have been released.
- “Star Bride Nina” is a popular work that won the Best Shoujo Manga Award at the 46th Kodansha Comic Awards, with cumulative sales of 2.1 million copies. The opening song “nina” was composed by Sakamoto himself. The composition and arrangement are handled by Yusuke Shirato, who is famous for composing hit songs such as Sakurazaka46’s “The World Is Mine” (composer), the “Idol Master” series and JUNNA’s “Here”. This collaboration is the first between Shirato and Sakamoto. An upbeat, positive and energetic opening theme is sure to have a strong impact.
- The music video for “nina” was directed by Yasuyuki Yamaguchi, who also directed Sakamoto’s previous music video for “Dakishimete”.
