Sober Facts now says he wants to “end this shit” with N.O.R.E.
In a recent video shared to Instagram, Jason Rodriguez, more widely known under the Sober Facts moniker on social media, pointed out that he and N.O.R.E. are both from the Queens area while expressing his desire to bring their differences to a close.
“I didn’t even wanna make this video, but I see that when people get famous and start beefing with everybody, doing a whole bunch of crazy shit, and then end up in jail,” Facts said. “Yo, and this whole situation with N.O.R.E., bro, about this word. … I don’t even wanna use the word anymore, bro. I’m really just trying to end this shit, this whole back-and-forth. And to be honest, we both from Queens, bro. Like, I deadass listen to N.O.R.E.’s music, bro. Even after all this drama, I still listen to the music.”
From there, Facts reflected on what he described as a hard-won path to sobriety, praising N.O.R.E. for running marathons and “getting better” in his own right.
The latest post finds Facts taking a different approach than the one he employed in a previous video. As we reported over the weekend, the NYC food reviewer and content creator was confronted by N.O.R.E. over his use of the N-word, leading to Facts initially pushing back.
In an earlier video, which is no longer active on his IG, Facts said that N.O.R.E. was “too old to [be] trying to beat people up.” He also argued that he wasn’t allowed to speak during their in-person exchange.
“The thing is, you’re saying to not say the N-word and you keep saying the N-word,” Facts previously said. “Make it make sense, bro. I’m not with the fighting shit.”
Facts also initially argued that “nobody in New York City is gonna stop saying it,” as it’s “part of the culture.”
