Fortnite Treasure Hunters: New Map, One Piece, Battle Pass and More
Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini-season starts November 1 and runs through December 5, with One Piece joining Battle Royale alongside A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert and more. There’s a new island to explore, new weapons and a full month of updates before the Chapter 7 end event.
Crossbones Isle is the new 80-player map, featuring One Piece’s Arlong Park and Windmill Village. A$AP Rocky also has his own battleship POI, the $.$. Rocky.
Players can use cannons to travel across the island and search for hidden treasure, including Captain X’s mega chest. More captains will arrive throughout the season with their own crews and POIs.
Weapons and abilities revealed so far include:
- Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit
- Zoro’s Three Sword Style
- A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket
- Ace’s Flame-Flame Fruit
- Usopp’s Slingshot
Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin join the Battle Pass alongside anime versions of Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte.
Gifting the Battle Pass to a friend will also give both players the Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style.
Captain’s Days will bring new weapons, Sprites and other additions on November 1, 7, 12, 14 and 21. The first begins at 9 AM ET.
Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays will also run throughout the season, with bonuses including Captain’s weapons at the start of matches and boosted drops.
Treasure Hunters ends December 5, with Epic confirming a Chapter 7 end event for that Saturday. More details on the event and upcoming One Piece cups are still to come.
Luffy, Nami and Usopp arrive at launch, with the rest of the announced collaborations releasing throughout November:
- November 1: Luffy, Nami and Usopp
- November 5, 7 PM ET: A$AP Rocky
- November 7: Zoro, Sanji and Chopper Sidekick
- November 12: Lil Uzi Vert
- November 13: Buggy
- November 14: Kasane Teto and Cap’n Hatsune Miku
A leak suggests players could win a “Pirate Shop” prize by opening chests in Battle Royale. The prize would appear in the Treasure Hunt prize pool every week, though the odds and any limits on winners are currently unknown.
According to the leak, winning gives you two activations: one for 2026 and another for 2027. Each activation lets you claim eligible V-Bucks Item Shop offers for free for 14 days. The timer only starts when you activate it.
The reported activation windows are:
- 2026: November 1–December 15
- 2027: January 1–December 15
The prize cannot be transferred, and there are several exclusions:
- Real-money offers
- Gifting
- Battle Passes, pass levels and pass rewards
- Sidekicks beyond one free Sidekick you don’t already own
Epic hasn’t confirmed these details, so the feature and its restrictions could change before an official announcement.
As usual, this season will reward a glider for your first victory royale.

Epic has also updated Ranked matchmaking to prioritize fairer matches, even if that means waiting longer to find a game. Players at higher ranks or queuing during quieter hours may notice the biggest difference.
Matchmaking starts with your current rank, while parties still queue at the rank of their highest-ranked member. If you’re playing with a higher-ranked friend, expect tougher opponents.
You may occasionally be placed on a server farther from your preferred subregion to avoid excessive waits. Some matchmaking settings will also vary depending on how many Ranked players are available in each region.
