They say good things come in small packages, and when it comes to blind boxes, I absolutely agree. Blind boxes contain collectible merch, usually figurines (but sometimes, other fun things as well — more on that below), that remain unknown to the recipient until they open it. Not only are they fun to collect, they’re also great gifts — each box has a surprise inside, making what might be a stressful gifting process enjoyable for everyone involved.
Below, I compiled a range of mystery-filled options that’ll delight anyone in your life, whether they’re a dedicated collector or a total blind box newbie.

Below, I rounded up the best blind box gifts for kids, adults and everyone in between. To make this list, I searched for popular and top-rated blind boxes from across the web, along with some NBC Selected staff favorites from our resident blind box lovers.
Digital cameras are everywhere these days — including in blind boxes. This box from Kodak houses one of seven small digital cameras that can actually take photos and record videos. Your giftee can customize the photos on the camera with Kodak’s frames, filters and date stamps (for a vintage look), plus the camera includes a USB-C cable for fast and easy charging and file transfer. The images are square and have a high-quality output, so it’s ideal for your giftee to snap memories while on the go. It also doubles as a bag charm, making it an easy-to-carry camera that doubles as a cool accessory.
These adorable blind box figures come in a wide range of colorful, expressive series that are great for decorating your home or office space. The Angels come in a variety of collectible series, including collections with themes like flowers, fruits, animals, sweets and more. This edition features 12 dolls, all of which are wearing a different kind of veggie-themed headgear. These figures can be purchased individually, or in an assorted box containing 12 blind boxes.

They can get one of five Star Wars Bounty Hunter characters in the box, including Din Djarin, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand and more. Each plushie also includes glittery, shimmery details, as a way to celebrate Star Wars Day (May 4).
Not only are the contents of this Miffy blind box adorable, they’re great for any imaginative or playful giftees on your list. Each box has a piece of furniture and other household accessories that they can use to fill and decorate Miffy’s space. They can rearrange decor, put clothes up to hang, tuck Miffy into bed or even sit her down for a meal — it’s all up to their imagination (and what comes inside of their box).

Former NBC Selected editorial projects manager Rebecca Rodriguez is a huge blind box fan, and loves the design of the Peach Riot figurines. “My friend gave me three of these for my birthday this year because I have a figurine obsession and I loved them so much I bought two more from the Punk Fairy series,” she says. This series has a total of 12 figurines showing the characters playing music, writing, surfing the web and more, with one secret edition hidden in a few special boxes.
Starface makes some of our favorite (and cutest) pimple patches, and this Hello Kitty collaboration adds a fun, mystery box twist to the formula we know and love. When your giftee opens the box, they’ll receive one of four special Hello Kitty compacts, which include a built-in mirror and 32 acne-fighting hydrocolloid patches in different Hello Kitty-themed designs. I’ve always found Starface’s compacts to be an easy, lightweight way for me to make sure I can treat pimples on the go, or switch out patches I’m already wearing. Plus, the brand’s designs are a cute step-up from the traditional, transparent pimple patches your giftee may be used to.
