Prime Video‘s collection of old and new movies and TV shows is second to none, and it’s constantly growing and evolving. Add to that a solid mix of interesting, genre-spanning original content that ranges from anime to blockbuster comedies to live sports, and the platform proves it really does have something for everyone.
This November, Prime Video will be dropping two of this fall’s most anticipated shows: Blade Runner 2099 and season 3 of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. That’s some impressive IP right there! The streamer is also releasing two biographical sports shows this month. First up is the new show The Greatest, about the life of Muhammad Ali, arriving Nov. 4. On Nov. 18, catch a new biopic, Madden, about the great coach and commentator (and video game eponym) John Madden.
Here’s the scoop on these titles and more, arriving on Prime Video this November.
Nov. 4

The Greatest (Season 1)
The Greatest is a new series about the life of Cassius Clay, better known as Muhammad Ali. The series is the first authorized scripted series about the life of the legendary boxer, and it was executive produced by Ali’s widow, Lonnie Ali. Jaalen Best will play Ali in the series, and additional cast members include Omari Hardwick, Dana Gourrier, Amin Joseph, Kai Parham and Michael Ealy.
Nov. 6

Campus Drivers (Season 1)
Campus Drivers is a new French series based on author C.S. Quill’s bestselling college romance novels. The series stars Carmen Kassovitz as Lois, a college student who becomes roommates with Lane (Baptiste Masseline), the campus playboy — who is known for creating a ride-share app called Campus Drivers — after her relationship with her high school sweetheart blows up. There’s plenty of friction between the two; they’re opposites whose unlikely cohabitation seems like it’s a bad idea for sure, but it doesn’t stay like that for long.
Nov. 11

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (Season 3)
Set thousands of years before the Lord of the Rings books, The Rings of Power tells the story of the Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. Season 3 of the series picks up five years after the fall of Eregion, as all the free peoples of Middle-earth – dwarves, elves, men and wizards alike – must find a way to come together to prevent Sauron from becoming all-powerful. Returning cast members include Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Owain Arthur, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Charlie Vickers, Daniel Weyman, and new cast joining in season 3 include Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things), Eddie Marsan (The Gentlemen) and Simon Pegg as the voice of the Balrog. The first four episodes of season 3 premiere on Nov. 11. Two more episodes arrive Nov. 18 and the season’s final two episodes will be released on Nov. 25.
Nov. 15

The Chosen (Season 6)
“Six seasons and a movie” is a modern showbiz mantra that signals a TV show’s success, so by those standards, Prime Video’s The Chosen has made it. The show about the life of Jesus Christ is about to drop its sixth and final season this month, focusing on his final days (no spoilers!). The end of the show will be followed by a film that’s scheduled to arrive in March 2027.
Nov. 18

Madden
Directed by David O. Russell, Madden is a biopic about the legendary football coach and commentator John Madden (played by Nicolas Cage), his life, career and relationships with his best friend, Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis (Christian Bale) and his wife, Virginia (Kathryn Hahn). John Mulaney also co-stars as Trip Hawkins, the founder of Electronic Arts, the company that developed the Madden video game namesake, Madden NFL, which has become one of the most successful sports games of all time. The film will land on Prime Video on Nov. 18.
Nov. 25

Blade Runner 2099 (Season 1)
Blade Runner 2099 is a new series spun off from the 1982 film Blade Runner and its more recent sequel, Blade Runner 2049. The series, set 50 years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, is set in a dystopian version of Los Angeles where androids, a.k.a. Replicants, have taken over society, now dominating the humans who created them. Michelle Yeoh stars as Olwen, a replicant who works with her human partner Cora (Hunter Schafer) to track down a gang of rogue Replicants. All eight episodes of the limited series will premiere on Nov. 25.
Nov. 30

The Boy Who Stole Billions? The Rise & Fall of Sam Bankman-Fried
This month it seems like all the streaming services are racing to tell the story of Sam Bankman-Fried, the convicted crypto fraudster who was sent to prison for scamming clients out of billions of dollars. On Netflix, you can catch a dramatized, scripted version with its new series The Altruists, and on Prime Video, you can watch The Boy Who Stole Billions?, a three-part docuseries featuring firsthand accounts from Bankman-Fried himself, interviewed from prison. The entire series will stream starting Nov. 30.
