Sister Wives star Christine Brown is addressing how she’s coming across on season 21 of the reality TV show.

“Something has been weighing on my heart so heavily. I feel like, throughout this season, I look like a villain. In these episodes, I look like a villain,” Christine, 54, shared in an Instagram video shared Sunday, October 26.

While noting that Disney villains are her “absolute favorite,” Christine shared that she’s “learning to find peace,” balance and how to stand up for herself.

“I mean, for years, I’ve had to keep it in and keep it all down and not really say how I felt. Now, I’m married to David [Woolley] and he loves me and it’s the first time that I’ve had support,” she said. “And he listens to me and he supports me. He’s so passionate about defending me, oh, my goodness. And it’s the first time for me to have support like this. It’s incredible to have a partner who really wants what’s best for me.”

She continued, “That kind of support changes you. It changes your perspective. It changes how you see yourself and understanding that my feelings matter. Giving myself grace is huge. Sometimes I say things so awkwardly and I’m just learning so I just appreciate you.”

Christine went on to thank fans for their “support,” adding that it “really does mean everything” to her.

“Sometimes I get fired up and I say things and I sleep on it and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It changes perspective and I’m just trying to find balance in all of this craziness,” she said. “I’m learning, growing, more importantly giving myself grace. And thank god I have David by my side. He’s an amazing support system and helps me through so much. All the conversations we have where I’m just trying to break things down, just trying to understand more about myself, my path, my future, whatever.”

The TLC star added that it means “everything” to have David, whom she has been married to since 2023, by her side.

“I mean, who do you have in your life that has helped you speak up for yourself?” she asked. “It’s a whole new world.”

She continued in the caption, “Finding my voice hasn’t always been easy, and sometimes it doesn’t come out perfectly. This season, I may look like the villain to some, but I’m really just a woman learning to speak her truth after years of feeling unheard. ❤️ Having David by my side, loving me, listening to me, and encouraging me to stand up for myself has changed everything. I’m still learning, still growing, and finally realizing my voice matters. And yours does too! ❤️.”

Christine entered the spotlight after Sister Wives premiered in 2010, chronicling her life with Kody Brownand his other three wives: Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown. Christine, who entered into a spiritual marriage with Kody in 1994, announced their separation in 2021. The pair share children Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truely. (Janelle and Meri are also no longer with Kody.)
