Netflix has signed on as a sponsor for the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Workshop (NJSBA) 2026 Student Film Showcase in Atlantic City.
The Workshop 2026 runs Oct. 19–22. It serves as NJSBA’s annual conference, offering professional development; updates on legal, legislative, policy, and funding issues; and showcases of public education products and services.
According to a report by The Link News, the showcase runs Tuesday, Oct. 20, and Wednesday, Oct. 21, featuring 21 short films produced by New Jersey high school students. Screenings are scheduled from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 20 and 21 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
The Student Film Showcase includes a Best of the Fest collection highlighting student creativity, storytelling, and technical skills.
The Link News also reported that Netflix will join a panel on Oct. 20 at 11 a.m., featuring Alyssa Nelson, senior manager of operations and development at Netflix, along with TV/film teachers and students.
