How to Watch NASCAR Cup Series Race Today at Phoenix Raceway
The Freeway Insurance 500 begins at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 18. USA Network will carry the live broadcast, while HBO Max offers streaming for viewers who want to watch online. Pre-race coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network.
Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90, will provide radio coverage for fans following the action away from their televisions.
Blaney starts from the pole, with Logano alongside him on the front row. Chase Briscoe qualified third, followed by Denny Hamlin in fourth and Christopher Bell in fifth. All five top qualifiers are among the drivers chasing the championship lead.
Kyle Larson, who leads the Chase standings, faces a tougher start. The Hendrick Motorsports driver qualified 22nd after struggling with his car’s balance during Saturday’s session.
Blaney enters the race fifth in the standings, 85 points behind Larson. Logano sits sixth, 92 points off the lead. Hamlin, Bell and Briscoe also remain among the leading championship contenders.
Sunday’s race is the seventh event in the 10-race Chase and the 33rd points-paying race of the 2026 season. Phoenix is no longer the site of the Cup Series championship finale, which moves to Homestead-Miami Speedway this year.
Blaney will also look to build on his recent success at Phoenix as he pursues a third consecutive victory at the track.
