Transformers: Animated Season 4 Comic Series Returns 20 Years Later In 2027

Nearly 20 years after the original series ended,Transformers Animated Season 4 is returning as an ongoing indie comic book series scheduled to launch in 2027.

The project brings back original head writer Marty Isenberg and lead toy designer Eric Siebenaler, who are teaming up with Keyan Carlile to faithfully continue the story of the unproduced fourth season.

After nearly 20 years… TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED SEASON 4 is finally happening, as an ONGOING INDIE COMIC BOOK SERIES. The show’s HEAD WRITER Marty Isenberg and LEAD TOY DESIGNER Eric Siebenaler feel ready to tell the story, and I am happily using my platform to give them the means.

Marty and I have been co-writing Season 4 all year, and a talented team of artists is bringing it to life as we speak. It’s time to give the series a satisfying, definitive conclusion and do our very best to make the late Derrick J. Wyatt proud. Season 4 rolls out in 2027!

There will be more info about Season 4 in Mirror, Mirror #4, the final issue of the Shattered Glass miniseries that releases later this month!
