If you haven’t already secured a pre-order for Grand Theft Auto VI, then Amazon may not be the best place to do it.
As noted on Reddit, “physical” copies of GTA 6were sold out on Amazon as of Monday morning, with both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions listed as “currently unavailable.”
As of this writing, the PS5 version is back in stock. Mashable reached out to Amazon to ask about GTA 6inventory and restocks ahead of the Nov. 19 release, and we’ll update this story if we receive more information.

In other words, it seems like Amazon has run out of Xbox boxes with download codes in them for the time being. As a reminder, you can still pre-order the game directly from the Xbox digital storefront on your console, as long as you don’t care about having a box to put on your shelf. You can also pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI (and the $99.99 “Ultimate Edition”) on the Rockstar Games website.
