Fortnite fans waiting for a One Piece crossover now have something tangible to point to. Fortnite’s official X account responded to a fan-made post referencing One Piece, Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man on October 6, 2026, igniting new speculation that all three anime franchises may be headed to the island. This has excited anime fans, who have been eagerly waiting for the arrival of their favorite animes in the battle royale experience. With Epic Games known for massive collaborations, it is very likely that these turn out to be true.
Fortnite teases collaboration with One Piece, Demon Slayer, and Chainsaw Man
Essentially, Epic Games replied to a post that was initially shared on X by user ThunderOptimism on September 29. It depicted characters including Denji from Chainsaw Man, Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, and Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece standing in a waiting room, implied to be lining up for a future Fortnite collaboration. In the image, Asta from Black Clover gets called forward first, while Luffy reacts with visible frustration at being left waiting.Fortnite’s official account responded directly to the post with an image of a “take-a-number” ticket dispenser, showing a ticket numbered “A84.” The number itself doesn’t correspond to any specific character, but the reply alone was enough to confirm that Epic has collaborations with these franchises somewhere on its roadmap. Two of the characters featured in the original post, Freddy Fazbear and Asta, have already been added to the game as part of Fortnitemares 2026, with the Five Nights at Freddy’s collaboration proving to be one of the season’s most hyped additions. That context is part of why fans are treating Fortnite’s reply as more than just a playful acknowledgment: with two of the five characters already confirmed as real, the remaining three read as a roadmap tease rather than a coincidence.Adding to the credibility, a separate One Piece collaboration has reportedly leaked for Rocket League, Epic’s other major live-service title, making a matching Fortnite tie-in far from implausible. A One Piece crossover has also previously turned up in Fortnite player surveys earlier this year, suggesting Epic has been testing interest in the franchise for some time.

When could these collaborations arrive in Fortnite?
Nothing has been confirmed in terms of timing, but speculation points toward Fortnite’s upcoming Mini Season as the most likely window. According to Fortnite’s 2026 roadmap, the Mini Season is set to begin November 1, serving as the final content phase before Chapter 8 begins. If a One Piece, Demon Slayer, or Chainsaw Man collaboration is coming, that stretch between the Mini Season’s start and the arrival of Chapter 8 would line up as a natural landing spot. While Epic hasn’t confirmed exact characters, bundles, or release dates for any of the three franchises, an official reply from Fortnite’s own account is being treated by the community as the clearest signal yet that these collaborations are real and simply waiting their turn.
