What players get for $8.99 in this PS Store offer
Watch Dogs: Legion’s Standard Edition for $8.99 grants access to the base game’s stunning open-world experience. The story is set inside the near-future London. An official description for the PS4 and PS5 action title reads, “Build a resistance from virtually anyone you see as you hack, infiltrate, and fight to take back a near-future London that is facing its downfall. Welcome to the Resistance.”
Compared to its predecessors, Legion made a bold move by skipping the single-protagonist format. In this game, players can recruit and take control of any character they want inside the city. All characters they meet have their own backstory, unique personalities, and skills.
The gameplay allows players to hack armed drones, deploy spider-bots, and take down enemies using an Augmented Reality Cloak. Besides the story mission, players can also explore the vast map of London to discover optional side quests and iconic landmarks.
Notably, the discount on Watch Dogs: Legion comes at a time when new reports suggest the game could eventually return with a surprising twist. Insiders claim that Ubisoft may relaunch Watch Dogs: Legion with a Director’s Cut. However, there’s been no official update regarding the rumor.
