Considering the wallet-wrecking one-two punch of tariffs and the RAM crisis, the Acer Nitro V 16 AI is practically a steal at $1,299—discounted by $200 to $1,099 for Prime Day. Despite the price, the gaming laptop has the chops to handle your favorite titles, thanks to its AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 CPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB SSD. That’s enough muscle to rip through your favorite shooters and other demanding games, though perhaps not at their highest settings. Plus, the 16-inch 1200p screen is an IPS panel clocked at a swift 180Hz, giving you a potential edge in frame rates on the Call of Duty frontlines.

FAQ
Do Laptops Go on Sale for Amazon Prime Day?
Absolutely, and without fail, you’ll find laptops at discounted prices on Prime Day. In fact, sales on high-profile laptops like the MacBook line are expected as a matter of course on each Prime Day sales event. Honestly, at this point, it doesn’t make much sense to buy a laptop, especially gaming laptops, outside of a sales holiday.
What Is the Best Time to Buy a Gaming Laptop?

Is Buying a Laptop During Amazon Prime Day Actually Cheaper?
This depends on which of the Prime Days you’re talking about (spring, summer, or fall), because the closer you get to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, sometimes that means the less likely you’ll see a top-tier price cut on the laptop you’re chasing. Computers are almost always cheaper on Prime Days versus regular shopping times, but not necessarily closely prior to or following other shopping holidays.
