HomeGoods Shoppers Are In Search Of These Rare Kitchen Collectibles

HomeGoods is a pioneer of seasonal decor, with a huge rotating stock for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and more. In a store so famously crammed with knick-knacks and frippery, even for experienced shoppers, it’s pretty easy to get overwhelmed by their inventory, unless you know what you’re looking for. That’s why collectors of Lenox’s Spice Village line are so excited to find table linens in this adorable, trendy motif at HomeGoods. Shopping influencer @boujeefindsofficial on TikTok brought the discovery to light in an April video, and since then, viewers have reported similar finds at Ross and Macy’s.

The Spice Village brand, originally released by Lenox in 1989, is a series of spice containers designed to look like miniature houses, each one representing a different respective spice. Since the ’80s, Lenox has developed this charming kitchen accent into an entire line of home products, from table runners to teapots. But why are consumers so excited to find them at HomeGoods?

The Lenox Spice Village: an adorable kitchen collectible

The Lenox china company was founded in 1889. Since then, Lenox has produced dinnerware for the White House, collectible Disney figurines, and the Spice Village line in 1989. This line has enjoyed enduring popularity, resulting in a second edition, released in 2024. These new products are consistently sold out on the Lenox website, so fans of Spice Village china have to look elsewhere.

Shoppers keep an eagle eye on stores like Target, Macy’s, and yes, HomeGoods, in hopes that new products will show up on sale. Unfortunately, the stock in these stores is highly inconsistent. In fact, the actual Spice village canisters rarely show up at HomeGoods; it’s much more common to find the Lenox placemats, tablecloths, and napkins there.

Whether you’re new to Lenox Spice Village collectibles or an avid fan, it’s easy to understand why they’re so sought-after. Not only are they adorable, the brand is even endorsed by housekeeping legend Martha Stewart on Instagram. It’s remained in high consumer demand for over 30 years, generating a highly competitive market for collectible Spice Village items.
