CNN’s Pamela Brown Launches New Streaming Series, ‘Body Language’

CNN’s Pamela Brown is turning her investigative skills on women’s health.

The co-anchor of “The Situation Room” will on Thursday, October 8, launch “Body Language by CNN,” a new series for CNN’s “All Access” subscription streaming service. Brown will over the course of eight episodes shine alight on some of the absurd health experiences that play a significant role in women’s lives.

“When I experienced postpartum OCD after the birth of my second child a few years ago, I was searching for answers, and for a community I could relate to and learn from. I struggled to find the right resources, and I felt dismissed,” said Brown, who is also CNN’s chief investigative correspondent, in a statement. “Ever since, I have been deeply invested in demystifying and reporting the facts on the many under-discussed health issues we experience as women. ‘Body Language’ is a true passion project of mine and I’m so excited for women of all ages to tune in and know that they are not alone when it comes to navigating their health.”

The series launches as traditional TV-news organizations are all working to meet younger audiences in non-traditional platforms that often include mobile, social and digital venues. Fox News earlier this week unveiled a new weekly podcast that will be staffed entirely by female contributors, while MS NOW is working to entice fans to a subscription service it calls “Membership.” CNN launched its “All Access” service in 2025, and has experimented with a wide array of programming formats, some of them decidedly less formal than what traditional viewers see on TV.

“Body Language” aims to cut through misinformation and probe health issues that often go overlooked. The first episode will examine perimenopause, a condition that starts on average among women aged 51 in the United States. Even so, some symptoms can emerge as early as in a woman’s thirties.

Additional episodes will explore health topics including breast reductions, egg freezing, GLP-1s, Alzheimer’s disease, thyroid diseases, and polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome.

“Pamela brings great empathy and her trademark candor to these timely health topics that need to be discussed,” said Ben Weltman, vice president of video on demand, streaming and podcasts, for CNN, in a statement. “‘Body Language’ reflects our commitment to distinctive video on demand programming that informs audiences while speaking directly to their lived experiences.”

The first four episodes of the series will be made available Thursday, October 8. Four additional episodes will premiere in November.
