Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 has seen yet another eviction, with wildcard contestant Shibna becoming the latest housemate to bid farewell to the Mohanlal-hosted reality show.

Shibna came out of the Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha selection process and entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 as a wildcard contestant.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 has witnessed another eviction. Shibna, a wildcard contestant, has become the latest housemate to exit the Mohanlal-hosted reality show.
The weekend episode during which her exit was announced aired on Sunday, September 27, and audience voting was over beforehand. With her exit, 19 contestants continue their journey inside the Bigg Boss house.
Shibna’s short-lived run ends with eviction in Week 3
Shibna came out of the Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha selection process and entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 as a wildcard contestant. In the 2nd week, she entered the house with Tashi Raj, both first introduced as wildcard entrants.
However, her time in the competition was short-lived as she was one of the contestants in a public vote during Week 3.

The week’s list of nominations had 10 contestants with Sumesh Chandran, Gautham G Sasi, Rakesh Jacob, Shijin S, Jaseela Parveen, Gayathri R Suresh, Kadal Komban, Aishwarya Madhu, Mridhula Vijai and Shibna.
Audience verdict: Shibna’s reply
The eviction was a task where the contestants pulled strings attached to a cloth with their pictures and verdicts on it. In the final round, it was Shibna and Jaseela Parveen left. Shibna’s picture revealed she had been eliminated. The result reportedly shocked her, before she left the house.
Back on stage, Shibna took the viewers’ decision with grace and spoke about her brief experience in the competition. She had reportedly wanted to stay in the house longer and show more of her gameplay.
The wild-card contestant also shared about her “direct and out-spoken” persona. She expressed gratitude to those who had supported her during her time in the house, despite her early exit.
Fourth public vote elimination of the season
Shibna’s exit is the fourth public-vote elimination of Bigg Boss Malayalam 8. She follows Dhanya (Kaali) and Rini Ann George, and Sreelaya, who have already been eliminated from the competition.
There are also changes in the contestant lineup this season, as Gayathri R Suresh has temporarily left and returned after a decision inside the house.
Bigg Boss Malayalam 8: What’s next?
There are 19 contestants left in the competition, as Shibna has left the house. In the coming weeks, the contestants will fight a battle to stay in the show with new nominations, tasks, alliances and confrontations.
