One day after theSuite Life of Zack & Codyalum and Victoria’s Secret modelconfirmed they had welcomed their first baby together, he revealed her name:Sylvie.
“There’s moments when I look at Sylvie, and I’m like, ‘This is the coolest thing ever,'” Sprouse said on the Sept. 29 episode of his andBrendan Columbus‘Wildmenpodcast. “She’s looking at me and her eyes are opening. She’s got a small wake window during the day and she’s looking at me and she smiles or something and it’s the cutest thing.”
And he knows there are some not-so-sweet aspects of life with a newborn, too.
“Ninety percent of the time right now, it’s like having a baby pet monkey,” he quipped. “It is having a pet monkey because she is chirping and making noises and pooping and farting and burping and hiccuping. It’s like having a really poopy little animal.”

The 34-year-old—who, in a joint statement with Palvin, announced in May that they were expecting a baby together—emphasized how thrilled he was to be a girl dad.
“I got to tell you, I did not expect to like this as much as I do, dressing her up in little fits, dude,” henoted. “She’s so cute. And I’m not sure that I would think like that if I had a baby boy. You’d be thinking differently. You’d be like, ‘Ah man, a little pooper.'”
“I’m looking at babySylvieand I’m like, ‘That’s the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen in my life,'” he beamed. “I got this bonnet for her. Dude, I love it. It was so cute.”
Sprouse also shared insight into him and Palvin announcing baby Sylvie’s arrival with a snap of them wearing matching Dodgers shirts. After all, he revealed the team has been a big part of their quality time.
“It feels really cool to see her learning so actively every day about everything, understanding feeding time and nap time,” he explained. “I watch the Dodgers with her like every day. I can almost see her recognize it’s time to sit on the nursing chair with me.”
And it turns out, Sylvie may be just like her dad.
“I will say that she stretches a lot. It’s really funny. No matter what she’s doing. I was like, ‘That’s weird cuz I do that s–t,'” Sprouse teased. “I’m calling it now, I think she might be a little lazy like me. I think she’s a lazybones.”
“I’m already starting to see it because when she’s feeding—and this happens with a lot of babies—she’ll drink and then pass out,” he continued. “It’s the funniest s–t.”
