The annual celebration of Japanese anime, culture and entertainment will once again be supported by dentsu India

After drawing more than 60,000 visitors in its previous edition, Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! 2026 is returning to Delhi on October 3 and 4, bringing the sights, sounds and experiences of Japan to Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden. Organised by the Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! Executive Committee, the annual celebration of Japanese anime, culture and entertainment will once again be supported by Dentsu India.

Bringing together a festival, exhibition and business networking platform, the event has become one of India’s largest celebrations of Japan.

The 2026 edition will offer audiences an expanded experience of Japan through a mix of anime content, live entertainment, interactive experiences, cultural showcases and exhibits from Japanese companies and organisations.

A diverse line-up of anime and entertainment content will feature across the two-day event. This will include popular titles as well as new additions. Visitors can look forward to exhibits inspired by Japanese destinations and anime pilgrimage sites. They can also discover Japanese products and services and experience authentic Japanese cuisine.

The programme will feature anime film screenings, exhibitor stalls, live stage events, concerts by anime song singers and idols, cosplay showcases and other interactive experiences.

Among the participating content are DAN DA DAN, Chibi Maruko-chan, Ponkotsu Quest, Zorori series, Little Mouse series, Osaji series, Nintama Rantaro and Phantom Baby. More titles and experiences will be announced.

With its mix of entertainment, culture, food, tourism and business, Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! 2026 goes beyond an anime festival. It offers visitors an opportunity to experience different facets of Japan and discover the connections between Japan and India.
