Actor Allu Sirish complained to Hyderabad City Police about the noise pollution from loud music played at a temple near his house in Shaikpet.
Allu Sirish took to X to draw the attention of police, alleging that loud music from a Hanuman temple in Vinobha Nagar was being played till 2 or 3 am for the past few days. The volume was allegedly above permissible limits and had become a nuisance to the residents living in the vicinity, the actor said.
Locals were having a tough time with the noise, Sirish said.
In the complaint, Allu Sirish, a resident of Aparna One in Shaikpet, said several people in the residential community were facing problems due to the late-night noise.
He particularly mentioned the elderly residents, children and working professionals and said that complaints had allegedly been made earlier, but the issue continued.

Sirish also said that he had approached earlier Film Nagar police station. He said the residents were told to bear with the noise till September 25 for the Ganesh immersion festivities. But he said the party was over, and the loud music was still playing.
Along with his social media complaint, the actor posted a short video as a sign of the noise he was talking about.
The complaint on X has been taken cognizance by Hyderabad City Police. The police said that the matter has been forwarded to the SHO of Film Nagar for taking appropriate action.
This comes in the wake of Ganesh immersion festivities in Hyderabad where the authorities had been keeping an eye on noise and other violations associated with the celebrations. The Telangana High Court had also recently sought reports on implementation of guidelines related to Ganesh festivities and noise levels.
Allu Sirish, the youngest son of producer Allu Aravind and brother of actor Allu Arjun, debuted as an actor in 2013 with Gouravam. Later he acted in movies like Kotha Janta, Srirastu Subhamastu, Okka Kshanam and ABCD: American Born Confused Desi.
His last Telugu outing was Buddy which was released in 2024. Sirish had also worked in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, including the Malayalam film 1971: Beyond Borders.
