The Wackiest And Wildest Looks From The VMAs Red Carpet

Celebrities showed up in their wackiest and wildest outfits for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet on Sunday.

While the recent Emmys red carpet featured more classic looks with fewer fashion risks, the VMAs were the total opposite. Entertainers rocked leopard print, pink shirts that said “Madonna” and red Adidas shoes on the carpet without a care in sight.

Snoop Dogg hosted the event held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. This is the first time in nine years the awards show was held on the West Coast, which Snoop made sure to celebrate.

“MTV and the VMAs have been part of my story since the beginning,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement after his hosting duties were revealed. “Some of the biggest moments of my career happened on that stage and on MTV — they gave hip hop a place to be loud, fearless and seen by the whole world. So to come back now and host the VMAs, all these years later, that’s a full-circle moment for me.”

The “New Romantics” singer is up for nine nominations, second only to Madonna’s 11.
