The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards are almost here — and women are dominating this year’s crop of nominees. Madonna leads the pack with a career-high 13 nominations, including the night’s top categories: Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. 

On Thursday (September 10), CBS and MTV announced that Snoop Dogg has been selected to host the upcoming VMas, set to take place later this month.

The nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced, with pop icon Madonna leading with 11 nods.
