Mithilesh, who entered the reality show as a wild card contestant after gaining recognition through Agnipariksha, had just started his journey when the unusual temptation was presented to the housemates. His run on the show has come to a shockingly early end with the decision.
Mithilesh prefers the money to the game
The challenge started with Bigg Boss giving contestants a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. The amount was then increased to Rs 10 lakh and then Rs 15 lakh, with the housemates being given the option of continuing their journey or walking away with the money.
Why Mithilesh Left Bigg Boss?
Mithilesh reportedly explained that as a late entrant, it would be difficult for him to change the equations inside the house. He felt he was disadvantaged in coming into the game after relationships had already been formed.
He decided it was a practical decision, and rather than continue in those circumstances, he took the cash and walked away.
Winner’s Prize Money Will Be Cut By Rs 15 Lakh
A new big condition was added to the equation. Reports said the Rs 15 lakh, which Mithilesh took, would be deducted from the prize money of the eventual winner.
The development then became a talking point among the remaining contestants, with disagreements emerging over whether Mithilesh should have been allowed to take the money.
