A new VR release in Capcom’s visual novel adventure series brings courtroom drama to Meta VR Glasses and Quest in 2027.
Announced today alongside the new Meta VR Glasses, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies VR is a new made-for-VR release in Capcom’s popular Ace Attorney series.
In Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies VR, you’ll use the unique capabilities of VR to examine crime scenes, build your case, and take it to court. The game uses hand-tracking to present evidence and point at or call out witnesses. Voice-activation control allows players to shout the series’ infamous “Objection!!”

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies VR is the first VR game in the long-running series, which began life in 2001 on Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance before finding worldwide sales success with subsequent releases on the Nintendo DS. Since then, 11 games have been released in the Ace Attorney series.
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013, and was the fifth main entry in the series. It was also released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows in 2024 as part of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy compilation.
