For the first time ever, the rising star (Ignition Press, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, IDW Publishing, Mad Cave Studios) will be discussing her creator-owned miniseries Roots of Madness on Tuesday, Sept 22, 2026 at 6:30pm ET.
Horror fans are in for a good time as Williams weaves body horror with the period drama of Sinners in a story directly inspired by Madam CJ Walker the world’s first self made millionaire and pioneer in cosmetics and hair care for Black women.

Widely quoted for her movie musings, Sherin contributes to various outlets where she gets nerdy about storytelling in every format—including the Geek Girl Riot radio show as its creator and producer. Culturally, she’s American, British-Caribbean, and Southern (complete with a love for grits, both sugary and savory).
