Game of Throneshas been off the air since 2019, and fans miss it more and more every day. As such, the series has officially been gone for long enough to start requiring some major cast reunions, bringing the talented actors who brought these iconic characters to life back together.
Luckily, Comic Con Liverpool has announced a slew of big Game of Thronesguests for this year. Fans have the opportunity to meet many of their favorite Game of Thronesstars in person this October, and looking at some of these names, it can’t get here soon enough!
Comic Con Liverpool is getting the band back together!
Comic Con Liverpool has announced that a whopping 16 Game of Thronesalumni will attend the convention this year. The event has historically featured a few Game of Thrones cast members, including a fun reunion between Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) last year. However, this year’s roster could practically recreate an episode of the series with their sheer numbers.

This impressive lineup includes some of the most iconic performers from the series, giving fans the chance both to meet the cast of their favorite series, as well as see them together in person.
How does it work?
For any fan who may be interested in attending Comic Con Liverpool for the Game of Thronescast but is unfamiliar with how a comic con works, it’s luckily fairly simple. Hopefully, you won’t run into any problems securing everything you need to meet some of the main players of the game of thrones.
Buying an admission ticket to Liverpool Comic Con does not inherently cover any additional autographs or photographs. Those are separate purchases for each guest. For the Game of Thronescast, prices range from a low of £20 to a high of £155, plus an additional booking fee. Fans can choose to purchase an autograph from the guest, a photograph with them, or both. Comic Con Liverpool takes place on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12. However, it is worth noting that the full Game of Thronescast will not be in attendance on both days. While Allen, Flynn, van Houten, Hempstead-Wright, Chaplin, and McElhenney will be there for the entire weekend, Clarke, Harington, Whelan, and Kaye will only make it for Saturday, and McCann, Wlaschiha, Kendrick, Portman, Furdik, and Simon will just make it for Sunday. Be sure to plan accordingly if there’s a specific star you’re looking to catch.
For anyone who can’t make Comic Con Liverpool, or lives far away and isn’t up for traveling to England, Comic Con Liverpool’s site lists instructions on how to order an autograph from a guest, even if you won’t be there yourself. Additionally, for anyone living closer to the East Coast of the United States, another iconic Game of Thronesstar, the Lannister queen herself, Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), will attend this year’s New York Comic Con, so there are other opportunities to catch this cast.

With Game of Throneshaving ended around seven years ago, it’s now established itself as a series with a lasting legacy. Despite a polarizing final season, the show’s reputation has endured among fans, resulting in multiple successful spinoff series, including House of the Dragonand now A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,a special shoutout at this week’s Emmys, the stage play Game of Thrones: The Mad King, and events like Comic Con Liverpool.
