The Peacock Original series “The Traitors” is expanding with an all-new civilian version, which premieres on Thursday, September 17, and it features a contestant from Massachusetts.
When does “The Traitors: New Blood” premiere and how can I watch for free?
The series premieres on NBCat 8:00 p.m. ETin a special two-hour extended premiere. Viewers can stream it for free on DirecTV or FuboTV, both of which offer free trials for new users. Sling is another great option for streaming the show if you want to catch one episode or are unsure about committing to a new streaming service, because it offers a day pass for $4.99.
New episodes will drop on Peacock the day after they air and plans start at just $8.99 a month, with the premium plan for $12.99, so you won’t miss an episode all season long.

When do new episodes come out?
The first two episodes will air on Thursday, with two new episodes airing every Thursday until October 8, when just one episode a week will drop all the way through to the finale airing on November 19.
Who are the contestants for “The Traitors: New Blood?”
The new season will welcome 22 competitors inside Castle Ardross in Scotland to compete and build up a prize fund of up to $250,000. This is the first time “The Traitors” cast is made up of everyday Americans instead of celebrities.

*Tomica Adams is the 54-year-old contestant from Boston, MA. She is a pilot who also serves as the vice chair on the board of directors for the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals and feels her career background will help her win the competition.
What is “The Traitors: New Blood” about?
In each episode, players work together in a series of missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Most of the players will be designated as Faithful, but hidden amongst them are the Traitors, whose goal is to move through the game undetected, eliminating the Faithful. By the end of the game, if any Traitors remain, they will claim the entire prize pool. If no Traitors remain, the prize pool will be split evenly between all remaining Faithful.
