The magic number strikes again. Instalment 13 contains (surprise!) 13 spooky episodes. Three of those episodes will be unleashed on on premiere night, followed by new episodes each week until the finale on 30 October, just in time for Halloween.

Joey Pollari plays Ben DeSoto, a new hospice worker, brought in and trained by none other than Constance Langdon herself, to care for a wealthy elderly patient with a mysterious past. The more he learns the darker his world becomes.
Paul Anthony Kelly and John Waters make their AHS debut, following Kelly’s breakout role in FX’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette.

Sarah Paulson returns in many of her fan-favourite roles, including Cordelia Goode.
Fresh off his role in FX’s body horror show The Beauty, Evan Peters revisits Tate Langdon and Kai Anderson, and steps back into James Patrick March’s immaculate shoes.
Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Lesley Grossman also appear. John Carroll Lynch is back as Twisty the Clown and Jamie Brewer returns as Addie Langdon.
