Cori Broadus is looking towards new horizons.
And after navigating serious health challenges—including lupus and a stroke in 2024—as well as the death of her babyCodiin January, the only daughter of Snoop Doggis finding joy in bringing her new cosmetic brand AFTXR to life.
After all, for Broadus, this company is more than just makeup, it’s also the start of a new chapter.
“I feel like I’m a person that, I stay comfortable,” she told E! News in an exclusive interview. “So, getting out of my comfort zone and just seeing all the good things that are coming, and just pivoting and trying new things.”
She also hopes her efforts can inspire anyone going through difficult phases of life to seek more.
“I want to dominate everything I do, down to the DJ and down to the lip cosmetic brand, whatever I put my hands on, I want to be the best at it,” the 27-year-old said. “And I think just showing girls that look like me that you can do it, girls that have autoimmune diseases—you don’t have to limit yourself. The sky’s the limit, and go after everything.”

She continued, “I don’t like to say role model because you know nobody’s perfect. So, I feel like you shouldn’t try to be anybody but yourself. It’s just somebody that you know you can look at and be like, ‘Oh, she did it. I can for sure do it too.'”
There’s also special meaning to the name she chose for this brand, AFTXR, pronounced “after.” It’s proof that life goes on even after the most heartbreaking hardships.
“I feel like I share so much with the world, and I feel like my life—I left it, I guess you can say, a cliffhanger, right?” she reflected. “Everybody’s like, ‘Okay, what is she doing now? What’s happening?’ This is literally after everything. So, I felt like that name was perfect for being a cosmetic brand.”
As for the product itself, Broadus—who is engaged to Wayne Deuce—hopes AFTXR makes every person who uses it feel good in their own skin.
“I want people to feel beautiful,” she explained. “I want people to feel confident. “I feel like society makes you feel like you have to look a certain way and be a certain way. And I’m always team authenticity.”

As she put it, “Just be yourself, whatever shape, form that is.”
And if Broadus ever comes up against challenges, especially as she continues exploring the world of DJing, her dad will be there to offer advice—whether she wants it or not.
“He’s a Libra, so he always has to put his two cents in,” she quipped of Snoop. “He’s successful, so I get it. I understand where he’s coming from. I think he sees that I really love it, and I’m actually good at it. He tells me that all the time—he’s so proud.”
