I played Fortnite for a week when it did the KPop Demon Hunters collab and got the ick enough to never pick it up again. I’m bored of crossovers infecting every video game in the world, and Epic’s battle-royale shooter is the poster child for corporate synergy excess these days. This week, Kingdom Hearts characters are showing up in the game, and as hilarious as it is that Epic seemingly couldn’t get Disney to sign off on Sora’s keyblade keeping the Mickey Mouse charm it has in the Disney/Final Fantasy crossover series, I can’t even look at this Fortnite model without getting the heebie-jeebies.
It’s officially happening 🗝️ Sora is coming to Fortnite this week! pic.twitter.com/58Cx7Le6dW

In general, most Fortnite characters look at least a bit off as they have to adhere to the same hitbox as every other character in the game, but it’s the dead-eyed expression on his typically joyous face that really bugs me about this skin.
I already hate it here, and more Kingdom Hearts characters are supposed to be on their way later this week as part of the Gaming Legends season they have going on right now. The decades of childhood trauma Sora’s experienced from being subject to everything in these games finally got to him. My guy’s been lobotomized. Is it worse than Long Sonic? I’m not sure.
