Capcom has released a new video showcasing the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remastered Edition, which will launch digitally on PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC on September 19.

The video is hosted by producer Kei Morimoto and director Ryosuke Murai, and the game lasts about ten minutes. As they walked through the zombie-infested mall, the two discussed many details about the remake. If you don’t want to watch, check out below for details on everything they said.

    • Facial animations have been completely reworked to “create richer expressions and more believable performances.”
    • The game is now available in 9 different languages instead of just English like it was originally. 14 text languages will be supported.
    • All dialogue is now fully voiced, which Ryosuke hopes will “add a new flavor to people who are already familiar with the game.” Rysouke joked, “We’re even voicing Otis this time.”
    • Paradise Plaza has a seaside vibe, with some jellyfish decorations floating near the ceiling.
    • For extra immersion, the UI can be turned off.
    • Added a weapon durability meter to make it easier to know when an item is damaged.
    • The setting to turn off streaming background music can be found in the options menu. Producer Kei Morimoto recommends using this feature if you plan to create “Let’s Plays” or stream games. He also confirmed that the game’s original licensed music still exists.
    • A new special wardrobe has been added, allowing players to instantly dress Frank in any clothes they find.
    • A special costume was added to make Frank look like his original design. “We thought there would be people who also liked the old look, so you’ll be happy to know you can play with his look, too,” Murai said.
    • Chuck’s costume from “Dead Rising 2” can be seen in the wardrobe.
    • The mall’s bee mascot was also included as a special costume. It’s a rather large piece of equipment, so pieces of it will be scattered across the landscape during the game, much to Morimoto and Murai’s laughter.
    • The duo announced that the physical version of the Deluxe Remastered Edition of Dead Rising will be released on November 8th.
