During the BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony, we offered the first glimpse of Diablo V (coming Spring 2029), announced a new animated series set in the world of Diablo in development with Netflix, revealed the Amazon class pack coming to Diablo IV in 2027, unveiled Season of Hell’s Legacy, and confirmed that Diablo IV is coming to Nintendo Switch™ 2.
And we’re just getting started. The celebration continues throughout BlizzCon with developer panels, live gameplay, and more from across the franchise, including Diablo Immortal x Spawn.

Diablo is Coming to Netflix
Sanctuary’s darkness is spreading. Blizzard and Netflix are developing a new animated series set in the world of Diablo, bringing the franchise to a new screen. We’ll have more to share as the series takes shape. Until then, stay awhile… and stay tuned.
The Amazon Enters the Battle in 2027
The Amazon is coming to Diablo IV in the first half of 2027. She hails from the island of Skovos, revealed for the first time in Diablo IV in Lord of Hatred.
Her return preserves the disciplined, athletic, and highly trained warrior fantasy players remember while reimagining the class for Diablo IV. Across four gameplay archetypes—Champion, Skirmisher, Ranger, and Commander—the Amazon can wield the returning bow and javelin, which introduces an entirely new weapon type to Diablo IV.

Celebrate 30 Years with the Season of Hell’s Legacy
More than 130 million players worldwide have entered Sanctuary across the Diablo franchise. Now, three decades of darkness return in Season of Hell’s Legacy, a playable tribute to Diablo’s most iconic characters, foes, locations and loot.
In Season of Hell’s Legacy, the lost soul of Deckard Cain returns to guide you through an epic journey to redeem the dark wanderers from the torment of the Prime Evils. Confront the Prime Evils Baal, Mephisto, and Diablo, reclaim splinters of their souls, and bear the burden of one of the Splinters to assume a portion of their power. But remember: no demonic gift is bestowed without a steep price.
Season of Hell’s Legacy begins rolling out on September 15, 9:30 a.m. PT.

Hell has arrived on Nintendo Switch™ 2. The Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch™ 2 on September 15. The Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection bundles the base game, Vessel of Hatred expansion, and Lord of Hatred expansion.
Plunder through the jungles of Nahantu and the far-reaching shores of Skovos, Joy-Con 2 Controller in hand, to challenge the Lord of Hatred’s hold over Sanctuary.
